ABOUT SENATOR JARRETT KEOHOKALOLE
Jarrett Keohokalole is running for Hawaiʻi’s 1st Congressional District because he believes it’s time for leadership that meets the urgency of the moment. As a State Senator and longtime public servant, Jarrett has built a reputation for running toward problems – not away from them. From holding Hawaiian Electric accountable after the Lahaina wildfires, to reforming the state’s broken insurance market and modernizing government transparency, Jarrett has consistently shown up when it’s hard, not just when it’s easy.
In a time of national gridlock and rising threats to democracy, Jarrett is calling for a new kind of leadership—one rooted in action, empathy, and accountability. His campaign is launching with a 90-day listening tour to hear directly from residents about the challenges they face and the solutions they need.
A father of three, Jarrett’s priorities include lowering costs for working families, rolling back tax policies that favor the ultra-wealthy, and bringing federal investment back to Hawaiʻi’s communities – especially in local industries like clean energy, maritime, agriculture, and the skilled trades. He’s not in this for partisan points. He’s in this to build a better future – for our kids, our communities, and Hawaiʻi’s place in a changing world.
“If you believe it’s time for change,” Jarrett says, “then I ask you to join me. Our future depends on it. And I’m ready to do the work.”

EXPERIENCE & RECOGNITIONS
My journey in public service has been shaped by a deep passion for helping our community. Growing up in Kane’ohe and graduating from Saint Louis High School, I’ve always been committed to advocating for the people of our islands. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working on legislation focused on improving education, public safety, and economic opportunities for all. I’ve been fortunate to receive recognition for my efforts, but what drives me every day is making a real difference in the lives of our residents. Let’s continue working together to build a better Hawaiʻi.
